Pancho Bakery is a family-owned artisanal Mexican bakery in Sydney, Australia, where tradition and craftsmanship come together in every bite. When Andrea reached out, she envisioned a menu that felt as warm and inviting as the bakery itself—something that spoke to the heart of a Mexican hacienda.
I designed a set of digitally-drawn line illustrations with delicate watercolour textures, bringing classic Mexican sweet breads to life with a colour palette inspired by painted clay, wood, and sun-soaked interiors. Each element was crafted to feel traditional yet elegant, capturing the essence of heritage and home.
To complete the project, I created mockups showcasing how the graphics could flow together beautifully, giving Andrea a clear vision of how they’d come to life on the final menu.
A joy to design, and even better with a cup of café de olla!
